Maker/Communities Space

The maker/community space in the Tweed.

The Maker/Communities Space is considered a space for the public, free of charge, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis when the Tweed is open. Please inquire at the front desk to get access. It is a perfect space for K-12 teachers who use this space for art activities involving their classes.

The Maker/Communities Space is open to all and has Loll Design furniture that allows seating for up to eighteen people. Given its double sink, the use of activities involving water: painting, watercolor, sketching, and other media (e.g., weaving, arts and crafts, photography, etc.) are possible. A projector is available; outlets throughout the space permit the use of computers. The walls are ideal for an exhibit of artworks produced in this space that might be up for display for a few days to celebrate the outcome with families.
