The Annual Student Exhibition opens on March 29th and features the work of 43 artists who took classes in the Department of Art & Design over the last year. The accepted pieces were chosen by jurors, Nishant Saldanha and Yahya Rushdi, who will be talking about their own creative activity on April 5th as part of the Visual Culture Lecture Series. The exhibition features work from a range of media including: animation, ceramics, digital art, drawing, graphic design, motion graphics, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and video.
The exhibition design was created, in close collaboration with the Tweed Museum of Art staff, by students currently enrolled in graphic design courses at UMD.
Join students, faculty, staff and community members on Tuesday, April 19th from 5-7 PM at the Annual Student Exhibition Celebration and Awards Reception. Help us celebrate the work of our students. The formal program begins at 6 PM in the Tweed Museum of Art.
